Can someone fill me in on the best way(s) to seal the exterior riveted seams
on an Airstream?
I have some seams on my '76 Tradewind which are likely leaking and letting
water in.
Is there a thin caulk that can flow in (or wick into) the joints, adhere
well, and then harden? Also, what sort of joint prep will be necessary?
I am also considering polishing the exterior. What would be the best
sequence? Polish, then seal, then clear coat?
Thank you,
Oliver Filippi
