Hi Richard,
I'm glad you stayed on the list.
Your tires are 10 years old, so yes.... time for new ones. There are
other good brands, when I get new ones I'm getting Hercules.... made in
the USA.
> 1. This trailer is dual axle and has three matching Goodyear Marathon tires (date code 2902), which I'm sure are original, and one mis-matched car tire. The Goodyears are sized ST175/80R13 and the automotive tire is a 185/70R13 (date code 2005). I know that the group will recommend a new set of tires and I believe that Goodyear Marathons made in the USA are, once again, considered desirable. Is this true? Or are there better tires out there for a reasonable cost?

Looks like you need a 13" wheel. How tiny is the trailer you bought?
Is it vintage?

> 3. The A & E awning is pretty well deteriorated in the first wrap, otherwise is in good condition. Is there a way to have the fabric repaired or could the bad area simply be removed to yield an awning about a foot shorter. I could remove the fabric and ship it somewhere for repair if this is cost-effective vs. replacing the fabric with all new. Recommendations?>
I don't know. I need a new Zip Dee but can't afford one so I roll along
without.

> 4. I need to purchase a weight-distributing hitch and am considering the Reese Pro-Series (Reese kit no. 49902) as it seems to be very favorably priced (about $250 with friction sway control delivered to my house). Does anyone have any experience with this hitch? Any cautions? I'm also considering the Eaz-Lift Elite hitch which costs about the same. Would this one be better?>
If I were you, I would get an Equil-I-Zer....... If I needed a new one
that's what I'd get. Lots of times they can be had off craigslist.

The water heater, otherwise, apears to be in good condition. If it's the thermocouple, is there a good on-line source to purchase just this part?
Beats me, someone will know.
