There is a way to activate the "Shore Power On" indicator light. I assume
that that is what you are referring to.
The solution is a little counter intuitive.
To make the light go on, you have to connect the panel indicator light lead
to ground (since there is always power to the panel - either from the
battery by itself or when shore power is connected - Hence the reverse
logic). Being the excessive type, I installed a 120 volt actuated relay to
connect the power on light lead to ground, when the shore power is on.
The simple "cheap fix" is to simply get a plug-in neon night light, and
insert it into a readily viewed 117 (120) volt receptacle. It will only
glow when the 117 volt wiring is powered (and the converter is also on).
