My '64 Airstream Ambassador has a spare tire holder on the front under the
front window, behind the propane tanks. I do not know if this was original
equipment, I am the 3rd owner and it was on the trailer when I acquired it
8 years ago. I have seen several of the older airstreams with this spare
tire holder so suspect it may have been original. Later Airstreams I have
seen have a spare tire holder under the front just behind the A-frame.
