Jennie, what CAD system is he using/learning? This is the national launch event for the latest release of Siemens Solid Edge (ST4) combined with the annual national user group gathering. It will be covering all kinds of things like what's new in ST4, tips-n-tricks for using Solid Edge, how-to seminars for various elements of SE, I'm sure some job networking, etc., etc. It will cost him $250 to attend ($350 after March 31) but it will probably be a fantastic place to network for a job! Not so much for other CAD systems, though (AutoCAD, Solid Works, Pro/E Wildfire, CATIA, etc.) Siemens Solid Edge development team is located right there in Huntsville so they will be there as well.
