I would try high speed to see if that might kick it off. Even if it finally kicks off, have it oiled and checked for dirt daubers. If Camper Clinic tries to talk you into a new AC, walk away and find an HVAC guy that works on RV rigs. Your unit is almost certainly fixable for a fraction of the cost of a new unit (Dometic does sell all the parts and the motor and starter cap is available from 3rd parties).
