I have a mellow yellow T@B with white trim. I will be buying a TV in about 6 months so I can tow without "borrowing" DH's truck when he's not coming along. I am interested in knowing what yellow vehicles match the mellow yellow T@B. Being a solid yellow, mine will have more of a chance of clashing. I know Ford Escape made a yellow for several years, as well as Nissan Xterra, which is what I think I want. Dodge has a yellow truck, too.

Can anyone chime in on other yellow vehicle matches?

I had this issue on my 2005 T@B for years.
Last fall, I made a repair with fiberglass.
In January, we left frozen Québec with the T@B to southern states.
When I checked the repair a few days ago ( we are now in Louisiana) I found that the repair is OK, but on driver's side a new crack has appeared about one foot from the place that was repaired.
We have to consider that the T@B trailer is not a one shell trailer like a fiberglass one (ex. U-Haul in the '80s)and that it is submitted to movements on the bad roads.
I think that the solution would be to have 3 short trims on each side in place of 2. The one in front seemed to be OK, but the one in back is too long and cannot obey to the stress given to the trailer on the roads ( and also stress by temperature: at minus 25F plastic becomes easy to crack)
My conclusion: I will let it like it is now, mainly because I observed that the gap in the new crack is not always the same. Sometimes I can see a gap of 1/8" and after a while on the road, the gap can be nothing.

Okay here we go, all FJ owners will feel the need to comment now because we can't hold back!  It is  the perfect addition to the T@b both engineeringly  and esthetically with the whole retro theme going on.  

I  have to agree with David. I have had short wheel based vehicles in the past like the Ford Bronco and Jeep is he same way, but boy  Toyota has really engineered it perfectly, because it is unusual for a vehicle that short to tow that unbelievable. At times, I have actually forgotten i had the T@b behind me.

Interesting, except for one notable 100 mile day my cats only ever rode
loose in the trailer. They chose to ride in the covered cat box, so I
made sure it was clean before I started the hooking up which they knew
meant we were hitting the road.

They did many thousands of miles riding in the trailer.

I forgot to add that when we are on the road, we crate the cats up in
carriers, which we stack between us on the truck's bench seat (standard
cab).

We do this because we never know what items will be on the floor when we
stop. We need new axles so the trailer bounces a lot.

One time we were in a WalMart parking lot for the night and I decided to
move the trailer to get a better wifi signal from one of the busibess in the
strip mall next to WalMart. We decided to leave the cats loose in the
trailer. After driving only 100 yards or so, we stopped and opened the
trailer door. No cats were found. We finally found one hiding in the litter
box and one, who NEVER gets under the covers at home we finally found hiding
under the bed covers... :-) That ended any idea of traveling with them in
the trailer....

Wow, what a cool picture!  I am enjoying driving the FJ too.  It handles well.  Do you have the back-up camera?  If so, tell me your opinion and if not, do you have any trouble backing your T@B without it?  I can already see where the back-up camera or at least sensors would be advantageous with the blind spots.  I think I back out of a parking space about an inch at a time.

As a member of the Loachapoka City Council I would like to tell the council how much I have enjoyed being on the council for the last few years. Many years ago Larry Justice asked me if I could help out on the council and I gladly accepted. It has always been a privilege.

For a number of months I have been drawn away due to other personal obligations and find that my time is still being pulled away from my duties on the council. At this time I need to help open the door for another person with fresh ideas and the privilege of serving Loachapoka which I hold dear to my heart. So it is my regret at this time I resign from the council effective February 28, 2011. It has also been a privilege to serve along side all present and past members. Please note that I still work and live in Loachapoka and will gladly help out with improvements and/or events in our town when needed.
