The times I have tried to seel on Craigslist I got two things. Buyers that were looking for a bargin and offera low ball $$$ and never even looked at what I was selling or the scam artist.
If you do find a seller, have the buyer make a wire transfer directly to you bank. Let the bank andle the details and make sure the money is there and good before you turn over the papers or trailer.
